In the 1916 Dødsfallsprotokoll I find notes for my ancestors Anna Jonsen and Karl Johnsen who died in February just a few days apart. The had writing is a bit of a problem as well as Norwegian.
What was the purpose of the Dødsfallsprotokoll? It seems to be a listing of deaths and what happened to the survivers...???? Also the record keeper abbreviated some notes. the document has 4 columns: a date, the person who died (name, age, location of death???, normal residence), other notations?????
column 2
Kone[crossed] Enke Anna Jonsen
42 aar gl. död 7 ds.
i Hölandsgaten 6, bo
pal Hölandsgt 9.
This is the best transcription I can do. I do not understand 7 ds. and perhaps the bopal????. It appears to be place of death and then the normal residence (as we would put on a US death certificate). In the case of Anna it looks like she died across the street from her home. More questions.

The "dødsfaldsprotokol" is a registration of all dead in a specific area.
7ds means 7th of this month. bopal means residence.
