    My husband, Lionel DeRagon, was descended from Michel, born 1704 - first son of Francois Daragon-dit-Lafrance, and Marguerite Bourdon. Michel and Marquerite were married 19 June 1724 in Boucherville. My husband Lionel (nickname Lee) passed away last September 17, 2008. I still have his many genealogy files on his research of all the descendants of Francois Daragon-dit-Lafrance and Marie Guillemet. I would be happy to answer any query regarding their descendants.

      François Daragon (Lafrance (m. Marie Guillemet (Guilmet)
      François Daragon (Lafrance) (m. Amable Lefebvre)
      Jean-Baptiste Daragon (Lafrance) (m. Françoise Desjardins)
      Paul Lafrance (Daragon) (m. Françoise Risse (Raiste, Rehse, Israelise, Bois)
      Lucie Lafrance (m. Damase Bertrand) who is my mother's great grandmother.

      Françoise Desjardins reconnects with me on my paternal side with the first settler in my line.
      Françoise Bois or Risse, or all the other names was a real challenge to find.
