I know it is a longshot, but does anyone have any Norwegian Millers that may be related??
My Millers were originally "Muller" until it was anglicized upon coming to the U.S. The farthest back I can go is Jacob Muller/Miller, born c 1730 (possibly Durlach, Baden, Germany). Jacob immigrated to the U.S., arriving on the ship 'President' into Philadelphia, PA on 27 Sep 1752. Jacob married Anna Maria Pabst on 25 Nov 1758 at the Moslem Lutheran Church, Windsor Township, Berks, PA. Their children were:
Anna Miller (c 1760-1812) married Phillip BURNS
Henry Miller (c 1763-1815) married Sarah WILFONG
Johan Georg Miller (born 28 Aug 1765) died young.
Maria Anna Magdalena Miller (1767-1821) married Conrad HAWN
Phillip Miller (c 1770-1823) married Maria Margaretha HELDERMAN
Jacob Miller (born c 1778) married Elizabeth WHITLEY
Jacob (Sr.) died July 1808 in Lincoln, NC. He had moved there sometime between 1767 and 1770. He owned land in both Burke & Lincoln counties. His wife Anna died in May 1817 in Lincoln, NC.
I was told Jacob (Jr) died in Washington, KY (year unknown). My descent is through Anna (Miller) Burns, who died 1812 in Washington, KY.
I'm looking for MILLERs near York and Lancaster, PA. Rachel MILLER (married John BYERS) and is dau. of Rudolph MILLER and his wife Jane (supposedly Jane Belz-Huber in a record I once saw). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My Miller family originated in Perthshire Scotland. Thomas Miller & Jean Guild had James Miller 30.1.1755, Andrew Miller May 23 1756, William Dec 17 1758, Elizabeth July 8 1759, Jean Aug 8 1762, Margaret July 7 1765 and John 1768.
I research my husband's Miller line. They were from MO --> IA --> VA --> PA --> Londonderry, N. Ireland.
He descends from Nathan Miller of Ringgold County, IA who was born in Rockbridge County, VA. Nathan descends from the immigrant ancestors, Henry Miller and Rebecca Boggs. I have quite a lot on this family, but am always looking to correspond with others researching this line. I am interested in sharing documentation and would like help with completing a SAR application for my husband. Thanks -- Sharlene Miller
Hello all: Any one besides Dan Campbell researching Millers in Pittsburgh? I will be exploring all of the Millers there, even ones not in my line for a class project. Let me know if you have any in Pittsburgh.
Father, James Alfred Locke Miller, Sr., was the son William Alfred Miller, son of Rowan Co., N.C., Lutheran Rev. John Abner Locke Miller, son of Capt. Alfted Alexander Miller, CSA, son of John Cyrus Miller, born Cabarrus Co., N.C., 1811, died Rowan Co., N.C., 1893. Brother of Alexander "Sandy" Monroe Miller, born Cabarrus, lived Rowan, removed to Illinois (Union or Mongomery Counties?). Brother of Frederick Haro Miller, who removed to the Republic of Texas. The fate of brother Samuel D. Miller born Cabarrus Co. is unknown. Their father was John "Henry" Miller by second wife, widow Mrs. Emelia "Milly" Fisher Sossamon. Henry Miler's first wife, Ann Barbarah Harris Miller had Miss Nancy Miller who died young, and Mrs. Caroline Miller Ridenhour who wed Aaron Ridenhour and removed to Illinois (Union County?).
My father was Jimmie Samuel Miller, b 1 Apr 1927, His father was James Jefferson Miller b. 9 Dec 1899, married to Bessie Mae Haberlie, Jeff's father was John Thomas Miller b. either in Texas or Alabama, married Pearsie Susan Simmons. I believe his father was James L. Miller b. Alabama. Anyone researching this line please contact me at califmeme@yahoo.com
My ancestor was Henry Miller married to Rebecca Boggs and I am trying to connect their daughter, Jean Miller Ochiltree to them with some kind of proof. Unfortunately Jean is not named in Henry's will. Can anyone help?

Looking for any information on SAMUEL EDWARD MILLER b abt 1857 in either Arkansas, tennessee or Alabama. He married KATE GAFFORD (Massey) (1861-1917) in Butler County, Alabama in 1887. They had 3 children: Frankie Miller (1888-1950), Samuel Edward Miller, Jr (1890- ?) both born in Butler County, Alabama and my gf Bertram Miller (1892-1940) born in Olive, Hardin County, Texas where the family migrated to in order for Samuel Edward to work in the lumber industry. Around 1894 Samuel Edward either died or more likely deserted the family. Kate moved with 4 children (one from prior marriage) back to Butler County, Alabama.
I want to know about the Miller family even if he was a scoundrel & left the family. Surely there is someone who has information, please help!!!
