Hi to all members of the Sussex Group. My Interest in Sussex is twofold, firstly I live in Bosham, West Sussex and just 2 years ago I found my husbands maternal side the POPE'S lived here namely Thomas Pope who was born 1690 in Hove, Sussex, he married Elizabeth Silverlock from Bosham in 1717. I have an extensive family tree for the Pope family, going back much further who all came from Sussex, East and West, which is on a family tree website if anyone has an interest (link on my page).
I also have the Bosham BMD Parish Records if anyone needs to trace family from there, which I am willing to look up.

My other interest in the Sussex area are Macey/Macy/Masey,Worthing area and Hart from the Brighton area.

I am researching William Windborne and his spouse, Elizabeth Wen. They came to America around 1620 from Sussex (Beaconsfield). I have very little information other than William"s surname may have been Wenban or Wenbon when in Sussex. There are many other variants of this surname. I am interested in communicating with others who may be interest in this surname..
