Hi Katrina! Henry Howland is my 9th Great Grandfather, so I guess we are cousins! Alot of my Ancestors are from New Enlgand. I've been a member of Ancestry for 5 years now. My Pilgrim Fathers are William Brewster, Stephen & Giles Hopkins. I love Genealogy! I just joined GenealogyWise today! Just wanted to say "Hi".
Thanks for adding me as a friend... I was feeling left out.. no one wanted to be my friend today.... I don't have lots on the Lockes because they were marriage relatives but they were from Little River or Sevier, Arkansas
Congrats, you are the first person to notice! Needless to say, I get teased at work about my obsession with "dead people". When my co-worker got a hold of this photo, he turned it into a ghostly image. If you look closely, my name is on the headstone in the back!
I hope to learn a bit about digital scrapbooking in you group. I started scrapbooking years ago to preserve much of my genealogy. I do feel a bit strange writing you though, since I am a Hurricane Katrina survivor. I've read a number of your comments and you are setting up groups all over the place so I guess you are taking Genealogywise by storm. I don't have Pilgrim ancestors, but I have been to Plymouth Rock, Old Salem and to the original Plymouth and seen the spot they departed from.
Thanks for adding me as a friend! I see your last name is Haney. Would you be related to the North Carolina Haneys that married Ledfords? Look forward to the "interaction"! Deb
Hi Katrina,
I meant to respond sooner to your comment, but have been busy. My connection to the Haines goes from my mother Nina Faye Johnson (this is quick so will just give maiden names and no dates for now) her father Charles Cyrus Larkin Johnson his mother Beadie Alwilda Ray her father Larkin Demarcus Ray his father Charles Washington Rea his father Thomas Garwood Rea his father Joseph Rea his mother Rebecca Haines. Also through Joseph Rea's wife Susannah Garwood who was the daughter of Carlisle Haines and Sarah Matlack. It has been a long time since I have worked on this family and I don't have much of the earlier generations in my database so I'm doing this from memory, but this is basically my connection to the Haines family.

Hi Katrina...thanks for adding me as a friend!.I hope to be albe to spend more time with the scrapbooking and genealogy after the harvest. My garden is really consuming all my time right now...but I manage to peek at all the posts when I'm taking a break or looking for some online help for the garden.

Hi Katrina
I'm replying re your comment on the Military group-
If your father has died, was he buried in a military cemetery? My FIL's grandfather died in a V.A. hospital and on his death record, it indicates he was in WW1, maybe there is a record like this for your father?
Also, was he listed as enlisting in WW2 on Ancestry? Did you try Footnote? They also have WW2 enlistment records.
I have HAINES, it relates to STOLLAR, ELY EALY STROHSCHNIEDER in sw PA. They are my ancestors. Can we share chat? SusiCP@aol.com
I also have two blogs and one family site.http://susischattyperformances.blogspot.com/ genealogy stuff
