    K2a...Me too!  Received my results from "23&Me" and found that my Maternal Haplogroup is "K2a".

    Always suspected my mother's mother was "Jewish", but had no actual proof.  Wadda ya think?  Any comments from the group?

    My mother's father (Franz Axel Goetha Ofeldt) was from Sweden...the original Swedish name was Ahfeldt or Afeldt...and was changed when he entered the USA to Ofeldt

    He came over in the 1870's or early 1880's...I have no record

    My grandmother (Hanna Rocholl) was from Bremen, Germany

    Any comments?
