    THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE FAST REPLY. I JUST JOINED THIS SITE AND IF I MAKE OUT WITH GETTING INFO FROM IT   ....    i.e. HEARING FROM YOU SO QUICKLY, THEN IT WILL BE A GREAT SITE TO STICK WITH !

    I DROVE TO NORTH CAROLINA IN APRIL TO FIND MY GRANDMOTHER'S  [father's mother]  GRAVE. HE LOST BOTH HIS PARENTS AS A YOUNG CHILD SO HE WENT TO PA TO LIVE WITH HIS OLDEST SISTER. HE NEVER KNEW MUCH ABOUT HIS FAMILY  [he was the baby of 13 children],  THEREFORE I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO START WITH. I MANAGED TO FIND THE CEMETERY AND HER HEADSTONE TOO. SPENT TIME WITH SOME COUSINS LIVING IN THE AREA THAT I NEVER KNEW. I REMEMBER MY FATHER HAVING A BROTHER & SISTER LIVING IN WEST VIRGINIA, BUT SO FAR HAVE NOT FOUND ANYTHING ON THEM. 

    I'M NEW AT THIS GAME OF SEARCHING, JUST STARTED THIS PAST FEBRUARY. DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT A DNA WEBSITE NOR A WHITESIDE DNA WEBSITE. I WILL CERTAINLY BE THRILLED & GRATEFUL IF YOU FIND IT'S STILL AVAILABLE.
