    hi, i have some keltons in my family tree

    i have an agnes kelton b 1813 in troqueer,

    her mother was agnes kelton nee brown b 1776 in tinwald, dunfriesshire

    both are in 1851 census at same address

    i think younger agnes had an illigitimate son, john costin to a thomas costin from troqueer

    as he is with her in 1851 census

    younger john costin was my 2nd great grandfather
