Hi Elwin. I knew your grandparents, Lilian and Bart Higgins ,very well they lived in Co Dublin. Ireland. My mother was Lilian's sister Ada. I met you when your parents were living in Dublin, just after they returned from South Africa. You were a baby then.

Hi Elwin - I think we may share a common ancestry through Springfield House where your father was born.  My Gx5 grandfather, Nathaniel Warren (1737-1795) married Catherine (Kitty) Higgins of Crampton Court in 1763.  She was described as having a large fortune.  By this marriage they had 5 children, the eldest son being James Taylor Warren, my Gx4 grandfather.  Catherine died in approx 1773 and Nathaniel remarried.  He children by Catherine were raised in Springfield House.  I haven't been able to trace as yet Catherine's parents, but hope to go to Dublin later this year (I live in Australia)
