The two names......Webbie Cardin Jennings age 11. Her cousin, Daisy Sullivan age 16.

The accident was a drowning in the Arkansas River between Ft Smith & Van Buren according to my now long past Grandma. The girls drowned on 15 June 1925 and were found the following day. They were buried in a double grave somewhere around Moffett on the 17th of June 1925.

Joan....I believe Daisy's dad to be John Sullivan. I have found thanks to you, a John A. Sullivan buried in the Dora Cemetery on findagrave.

John A. Sullivan married Maude Jennings Rounsaville....both were widowed prior to their marriage.

Maude had more or less adopted Webbie Jennings after the death of her mother Maggie George Jennings (my great grandmother).

So the two girls were related and yet not.
