    The Pockling family is one that I have searched for a while on Ancestry. The connection is into the Lawrence family by Mary Pocklington married to William Lawrence.

    Mary Pocklington was bor 2 Oct 1801 in Doncaster the daughter of John. From information I have received from Ancestry.com there are several Richard Pockliungtons may be grand and great grandfathers, the last one they connected was in 1600, but that's all, Whether this information was from other family trees or from some other records they have in whatever databases, I don't know, but it seems I saw Doncaster,Yorkshire connected with many.
