First, here's a late welcome to the 'new' Cole surname group. Second, I just spotted your message in my email inbox. Here's a snippet: "I signed up this afternoon and I thought I typed up something to be posted on the list, but it isn't there. What happened to what I posted".

It seems you've already figured it out since you re-posted, but I think what happened is that you clicked on the link to send a message to all the group members and unfortunately that seems to send an email message but otherwise the message does not show up on the group genealogywise page. I deactivated this ability (or at least I think I did) when I set up the new Cole group, so that problem shouldn't occur again. I'm glad you figured it out and posted the info to the discussions page. Glad to have you join us in the Cole group.

Yes, I'm still trying to learn this too, so we are both in the same boat, but we will prevail, I'm sure? It sure looks to be a great social networking site just for us genealogists from what I've seen and look forward to learning more about it.
