    I saw an article about you and John Brown in the San Jose Mercury News. My paternal grandmother was descended from Browns. Her cousin had done a family history going back to 1540. I only have a portion. It was always a family rumor that we were related to John Brown. Our ancestor in the Revolution was Lt. Samuel Brown of Acton, Mass. He was married twice and had 20 children.
