Hello - I just joined this site and I'm still trying to find my way around.
I'm always looking for Druck relatives! I've done previous research and completed a book on my father's ancestors and descendants, but recently learned there are many Drucks in the Louisville area. I'll take a look at your family tree on Ancestry.com for more information! If you're interested you can take a look at my blog - www.judyroutson.wordpress.com. Thanks!
Hi Peggy - thanks for getting back to me so soon. I think you've answered my question about a family connection. I know a Norwood Druck, who lives in Ohio, and his father's name was also Norwood. (But, if it's the same one, I have information that his wife is also deceased - maybe it's a different Norwood Druck!)
Since I'm a distant cousin to Norwood, it appears your husband and I are also related. I'll have to do some further checking, and I'll get back in touch with you by e-mail.
I think all the Drucks in Ohio and Kentucky are descended from the same Drucks who settled in York County, Pennsylvania. And yes, they were originally from the Palatine area of what is now Germany. My ancestor arrived in Philadelphia in 1741.
Thanks so much for the information you've provided! I'll be happy to share with you.
Thanks again, and have a great evening!

Hi Peggy - so sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you heal quickly and completely. I know what it's like to have aches and pains, as I've had lupus, fibro, and arthritis for many years!
Thanks for your kind words about my blog posts. And I really appreciate all your research on the Drucks in your neck of the woods and elsewhere, outside of Pa.
Take care and get well soon!
Love from Boonville, New York!
