can you tell me what area of Lithuania your relatives came from please?
This will be on the wedding cert.
Also my father came to Bellshill during the w/war 2.
I have found loads of Lithuanian relatives of mine and have visited them in Lithuania.
My mother's parents came to Bellshill during w/war 1.
I have not found any of mother's relatives yet.
But now I know the area it and it will help me now to trace them.

good start ian, in Bellshill, not far from Dalziel there is a Lithuanian Club where my parents visited often when they were living. My aunt was an active member of the club for years until recently gave it up due to ill health. I am going to Bellshill next week following links to my family and I am going to find out more about Club members there. When you give me names I'm sure the locals will recognise some of them. Bellshill has , or had, a very strong Lithuanian community. Good luck!
