    I have done extensive research on Matthew McBlain Thomson. I am aware of the IGI site. I'm hoping that someone can help me learn about records that could document his actual birth. His mother would have been Helen McBlain and most likely she was unmarried. Maybe she would have gone to another city to have the baby.
