I did a quick look on Ancestry.com and found a Newton in Miss. in 1900 and 1910 father Willis H and mother Mollie. He is still with them in 1920 but the parents names are Matt and Mollie. Isaac Newton Walker registered for the WWI draft in San Antonio b7-15-1893 it says he was born in Miss. His name is Isaac N on the 1900 census. I don't know if this is your Newton or not but these are the only hits I got without searching too deep. You could look for him in 1930 to see if your mom shows uo
