Hi Margie,  I haven't been on GenealogyWise in months and months.  I'm a descendant of Joseph G. Allen.  My grandfather was Stanley Elmer Allen.  His father was Joseph Elmer Allen, and his grandfather was Joseph Gilman Allen.  My mom was born in Essex.  I have cousins who still live there, too.
