My G Grandfather, George Henry Henningsen is an enigma. Born in about 1898 possibly in Launceston to single mother, Anne Kirstine Neilsen Henningsen. Possibly raised in Perth in the Gosnells area, before moving with his mother to Marradong when she married James Albert Thomas Munday. He married Myrtle Mary Jennings in about 1922 but left the family by the early thirties. I beleive that my Nana heard from him in about 10/1946 either on or close to her wedding day, but due to circumstance she refused to have anything to do with him. My problem is there are two stories regarding his death. He either threw himself of a cliff in Fremantle or Drowned in the Boddington River. I can't find any proof of either, nor a death reg. Can anyone help or does anyone have some ideas?

I have searched in the other states as yet as the information on his death came from the stories of family members when they were alive.

I am fairly sure that he died fairly soon after my Nana turned him away, but cannot find anything

Regards
Tanya
