Homestead of Patrick MaGee

Is there a site, actual or electronic, that pinpoints the original homestead of Patrick MaGee in Pennsylvania? Is it in Cumberland Co.? Stevenson is a little vague.

have you tried the BLM GLO records? Bureau of Land Management, records online? I have had good luck finding homestead records there. Go by state and his name; if he is on there, it should give you the county, acreage and the date when it was filed. Just remember it took from 2 to 4 years to file intent, prove up the homestead and do the final witnessed proof. Some of them even have the original copy on film. It should also give you the sections he owned.
