I am a new member.

Glad I found this site.  Seems Genforum  is all but shut down.  Don't get any email re: queries.  Not any new queries since 2013.  I am going to try and help make this  better than genforum.

I just joined yesterday.  My maiden name is Harrison and my line goes back to Isaiah Harrison, the immigrant.  However, I am one or two generations short of Isaiah.  Through DNA we know Isaiah is in our Line.  My earliest ancestor is Joseph Harrison b. 1740 m Ann Bawls/Ball/Boyles.......in 1762 in Rowan County NC.  Need to make that connection.  My mother's side is Scoggins which I have back pretty far.

My husband is Allan Steele.  I have this line back to Francis Steele b. abt 1730 married ?His mother was a Hall and she married a Hall.  Kind of a stumbling block here.  Too many Halls.

Have lots and lots of connecting branches and willing to share all.  Side lines

Steele, Corder,Tucker, Hawkins:  Hall, Hall, Snyder Webster.
