Hi I am looking for information on Donald (Donate) La Fleur. He traveled a lot and I am having a hard time locating him in the census. He was in Alcona, Michigan for a while. He was Married to Ida Smith and had a son Donald James Dewey La Fleur who was born in Wisconsin. A daughter by Bertha Gordon her name was Stella she was born in Barton City Michigan. I think he had a brother who ended up in Alcona county, Michigan. Does anyone have any information?

I found the family in the 1900 census in Michigan, Iosco County, Oscoda Twp. I also found them in the 1910 census in Michigan, Ogemaw County, Goodar. He was a blacksmith in 1910. I found the birth record for Donald James Dewey who was born in July 13, 1898 in Ashland, Wisconsin, but there was a record of the birth in the Michigan birth records. Some of the records have Ida as "Iva". She was born in Pennsylvania. Good Luck.
