Looking for Withington in PA...

Hi,

I have been trying for some time to get information on the name of my great grandfather's parents. My great grandfather was George Withington who was born 1810 in PA and died in 1891. There are other Georges but the birth dates of the one I am looking for, seem to be authentic, as listed in the cemetary records here in WI.

George and his wife Nancy J Harshbarger (sp) had 6 children as listed below. The family moved from PA to WI sometime between 1853 and 1855 or so.

Mary Jane born 1843 in PA

William Martin born 1845 in PA

Margaret Elizabeth born 1847 in PA

Albert Wilson born 1850 in PA (my grandfather)

Theresa (AKA Thurza in one census) born in 1853 in PA

Oliver Newton born in 1855 in WI

There are several possibilities including one of the Peter Withingtons, Martin Withington or possibly a Daniel Withington although nothing points to George as being a child of any of them.

If anyone has any leads on George's parents names, please email me at withee@mwt.net. I have been stumped on this for quite sometime and just can't get any farther back in my ancestry than my Great Grandfather George.
