More about me

Thanks for inviting me to join GenealogyWise.  I started working/playing with genealogy about 35 years ago.  My husband gave me a book to record family history and I was off and running.  I research not only my family ancestry, my husband's ancestry, but also that of my friends, former students, and others who are interested in their ancestry but don't have the time or skills necessary to do so. 

Generally if  info is online, I can find it.  For info that doesn't appear to be online, I use social media, letters (not nearly as often as when I first started), email.

My weakest area of expertise is in Swedish genealogy.  I know about it, but since I didn't accept my grandfather's offer to teach me Swedish, I don't know how to work with it.
