Mowry family?

Hi-

I'm trying to connect the Mowry family to the Steere family in Rhode Island. Judge Daniel Mowry married Catherine Steere in the late 1700's- early 1800s, no date of the marriage is given in the research I have done, but my father is the fourth Steere with Mowry as his middle name, and I believe there is a deeper connection between these families. I do believe Judge Daniel's mother was a Steere? I'd love to connect with anyone researching these families-

Hi Kate, I don't have anything for certain as my sources are unverified. My Morey/Mowry line goes back to Roger Mowry's son Benjaman and I'm working on trying to fill in that line. Lots of records on Nathaniel and John (two of his other sons). Judge Daniel Mowry is decended from Nathaniels line. I found on the Geni website that Daniel was married to a Anne Phillips b. 1724 d. 1753 and is buried in Smithfield, Providence RI. no marrige record on either of them.
