Pedigree DNA Results

My husband with the surname of Newell recently had an upgrade to 67 markers on Family Tree DNA. It shows a match with a surname Buckley, but with 7 genetic distances. He also has matches with 3 other surnames of 25 with 2 genetic distances. Should I ignore these or contact these people to see if there may be a connection?
