Hi,

I have a paper that says that my great grandfather ws born in Schoenwalde Kreis Flatow in 1863. Does any on know if I should contact Poland or Germany. The spelling is different than my maiden name so it is not all that easy. Thanks Wanda Hamre

I believe that this area is currently found in Germany. You should at least start looking there.
