My third great-grandfather Abraham Richardson had nine children: Daniel, Margaret, Priscilla, Colonel, Mary, Henry, Martha, Catherine & Charles. Is there anyone on here with information on any of these people?

Kimberly, it would help to know dates if you have them and location in South Carolina if you know.

Hi, Lauren. Abraham Richardson was from SC. He was born on July 7, 1840 & died on November 4, 1923 in Hartsville, SC. He is buried in the Centerville section in Hartsville, SC. All of his children, according to the 1870 & 1880 Censuses, were born in SC. I assume that the children lived in Hartsville, SC, until they became up in age and moved away.

Kimberly, I haven't forgotten you. My records are not accessible at the moment to get to the really old ones. From memory my husband's grandfather, Kenneth Prince Richardson was born between 1890 and 1895. His family had been in Centerville, Anderson County SC for at least one, maybe two generations by then. Prior to that I believe they were in Lauren's county. Both of these counties are on the opposite side of the state from Hartsville so if there is a connection it would be more likely in the 1700s if at all.

When I have access to my records once again I will look into this further. (Moving, it will be a few weeks.)

Okay, Lauren H Richardson! Sure. More than likely, there probably is a connection.

im james barry stricklin ,i was a decenant of emily g richardson born 1800 who married william stricklin in hardin co tn 1819.  her mother was mary richardson of maryland ,i cant be sure of her history
