Sattler trek

Hi,

My name is Gloria Sattler.  I am and have been for some time attempting to find a common ancestor to connect my family of Sattler to Sattler be it in Germany or Austria. My family of Sattler goes back to 1500's, and that is through Switzerland.  But through stories that have been told to my husband, when he was growing up, the family name of Sattler is suppose to have migrated from Germany to Austria to Switzerland.  This is all before their migration to the south pacific as to New Zealand and Australia.  

I am real interested to speak/communicate with anyone that could shed light for me.  The regions of concern are the border regions, in the south as in Baden, Baden-Wurttemberg, and from the Austrian side Feldkirch region of Austria.  These regions border to Switzerland.
