My grand father was luckett joseph marsh son of Benjamin allen marsh born around 1910 died in 1938 in  oakdale la. . benjamins father was also Benjamin marsh who was married to nancy snoddy ! I understand that they probably came from south Carolina, but probably is a big word !there are over 200 hundred Benjamin allen marshes in America and I am sure they are all family because the first marshes including elizabeth marsh came to massachusettes in the 16 50s I believe if I could chase my grandpa to the state he came from I could go reasonably far back ! they are a interesting bunch some  had a shaker like religion in new York state! If any body out there know any thing let  me I do have a few more marsh names in my family !
