Hi!  I'm sure I know many of  you from 23&me.  I'm new in this group but not new to

DNA nor genealogy.  Some of you are cousins of mine.  My haplogroup is U5b3.

Looking forward to participating and sharing.  My name is the same across the board including FTDNA.  Am also on gedmatch.  I like gedmatch very much.  It brings us all together.

I have ordered 23 & Me tests for my wife and myself. Later, I would like to use some 23 & Me tests to supplement my FTDNA tests for my 20+ surname and regional DNA projects.

I'm also willing to share with anyone interested. Especially interested in anyone with mtDNA haplogroup H3a and/or anyone with the non-ABO blood antigen K+/K- which is only shared by about 8% of Northern Europeans. It's looking as if those 8% are mostly getting the antigen from a Scotch-Irish line.

I am also willing to share with anyone interested - thought I had left a message to that effect, but do not see it - am in 23andme as Carol Head.

Hi all -- I have written to 23andMe to ask whether a person who orders their new $99 Research Edition (a limited version of the test) could later upgrade to the full version, and if so, what the cost and procedure would be. I'll keep you informed as to the answer!
