Benoni GRANT is my ggggggreat grandfather. The only thing I know is that I descend from his first marriage to Mary Burch and had two children William and John. I descend from William. My line is as follows:
Me daughter of Dominic BOONE son of Anna HUNKINS daughter Angeline GRANT daughter of Albert H. Grant son of Halsey Jr. Son of Halsey Sr. son of William son Benoni.

Alberts wife and Angeline's mother was the daughter of William Grant son of Billings brother of Halsey Sr.

Thats all I know for certain on this line. A rumor I heard is that I connect to U.S. GRANT because a relative of his had an affair with my Benoni's mother.
