In my family the Davisson's landed in MA. in the mid 1600's then spread out to NJ. then migrated to what is now WV. The immigrant was Daniel Davisson from Scotland.My last named Davisson was Elizabeth Davisson daughter of Obediah Davisson & Elizabeth ? She married Captain Joseph Friend. Their daughter Mary"Polly"Davisson Friend married William Arters/Arthur in Harrison Co.,VA./WV. in 1802.
