As you said, there are no contemporary pictures of Eleanor, but think there is one object, such as a coin with her on it. And the only relict from her is (I believe) a wedding present that she gave Louis. I can see it in my mind's eye, but am not sure how to describe it. Was it a vase?
Some interesting websites with biographical sketches of Eleanor & genealogies (I am not recommending these sites, just pointing them out, beware if no sources are given, treat them with caution). Couple of sites that have images are interesting but no contemporary picture exists of Eleanor, just her tomb effigy.
