REMBERT, Caroline - South Carolina > New York

Hi.  I'm looking for information on Caroline Rembert [born around 1915 in South Carolina, died around 1948 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York.  Caroline married Russell Felder, Jr. [born May 1905 in South Carolina (Orangeburg?), died Mar 1977 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York].

Caroline Rembert's father was Robert Rembert [born around 1872 in South Carolina].  Her mother was Anna ( ), [born around 1877 in South Carolina].

These Remberts were a Black family, and it seems from the records that Caroline met Russell Felder, Jr., after relocating to New York where she is found on the 1930 federal census enumerated in the household of Essie Collins [who, based on the relationship recorded on the 1930 census, is her brother (probably half brother).

The other children of Robert and Anna ( ) Rembert are: Lillian (1900); Nellie (1902); Eloise (1904); Isiac/Isaac (1910); and Elizabeth (1912) who appears on the 1930 census with Caroline.
