Allen Families of NC---Moore, Montgomery and Randolph counties in NC

I have been doing research about the Allen family since I started researching family trees.  I know that there was a very large settlement of Allen Families in Rockingham county.  I don't know where they moved to from there.  I have known my Allen family since I can remember anything.  These families lived in what is called The Sand Hills Area of NC.  The counties are Randolph, Moore and Montgomery counties in NC.

I live in Rockingham county in NC.  I have found the location of the Rockingham county Allen plantation/settlement.

I am looking for Allen families that have also settled in other states.  I do know that a portion of my allen family settled across the country from Atlantic to Pacific.  I have actually spoken with members of my Allen family all over the US.

Any information about the Allen families and their descendants will be appreciated.
