Comment by Lori Brainerd on July 18, 2009 at 11:45am: I am looking for information on some of my great-grandparents, their parents, etc. If anyone knows anything about Hal Bryan Byers (10/6/1896 - 9/29/1957) or his parents (Hugh Byers is his father), Agnes Dimple Luther Byers Welch (7/17/1902 - 1/4/1994) or her parents (Gideon Luther & Flora Ellis Luther), I'd be MOST appreciative of the information! I'm also looking for information for Fisk(e) Brainerd (1875 - 1951) and his family. Thanks!

Especially looking for descendants of Harry Pettengell and Fanny Wilkins, James Thomas Pettengell and Agnes Marjorie Larkin, Alfred Edward Pettengell and Elizabeth Ann Brackley, Matilda Louise Pettengell and John William Ellerby. My Grandfather Frank Pettengell and Grandmother Alice Ellen Hall came to New Zealand in 1876/77 and married and settled in Wellington, New Zealand. My Gt Grandparents were Henry (Harry) Pettengell, b 1828 in London, England and Sarah Priscilla Banks, b 1831 in St Neots, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, England. All comments welcome and acknowledged

I have had a Public Family Tree on Ancestry for several years and have learned so much about my family.
When I receive a e-mail request from Ancestry I always answer them back, even if I do not have information that would help. I at least let them know.
DO NOT LIKE THE NEW LOOK OR SEARCH.
Just like one of the others that placed a comment, it is like going to the store and them changing the whole store around. You get used to one way and then it has been switched. On Ancestry it does have a place you can tell them you do not like the new look.
I'm so glad to be on the new Genealogy Wise site and looking forward to all the new stuff others will share with me.
I'm looking for information on Lathrop's, Tennant's and Baer's if anyone has any?
Trying to find where my grandmother Lucy Tennant, Sherrill, Lathrop, Karge who died around Othelo/Spokane, Washington about 1922 is buried at?
Lucy would have been about 34 years old.

Mary Ann Mason & George Wicker were the parent's of my grandmother Alice Mary Wicker born 1884.. It's pricey, but I do use it a lot. I installed the 2009 FTM & like it better than the 2008 - at least for the reports. Family Group Sheets were just too impersonal to me. I guess I'll be updating to the 2010 FTM after reading all your various comments! My family research includes Ripley, Parker, Smith & Bahlmann. Anyone out there with those ancestors? Would love to hear from you & share info! I DO answer any requests for help!
