Comment by Rich n Terri Moberly on July 15, 2009 at 8:24pm: I use TMG on my home computer but more and more our Ancestry.com collaborative database. Have a large number of researchers hooked in, and a few are very active in adding to the database. Not perfect but a great tool.

just joined so bear with me. Been doing my Higgins family tree for apx 18 months here in the UK. Having the basic Ancestry.com package for the first year, UK & Irish records only, I decided to take out Ancestry.com's top worldwide package, hoping to search all my rellies in Oz (BDM & Census) and other countries. But the upgrade is not that different from the basic. You cant search Oz records and only get US records aftre hitting on a 'hint'. Then to rub salt in the wounds, they halved the cost of the package!!!!!

Comment by Bob Thomas on July 15, 2009 at 6:59am: For the best results in solving any problems with Ancestry.com I have found calling them direct at 1-800-262-3787 will normally habdle the issue. You sometimes have to wait an extended period of time but as you can see by all of your comments, trying to work with them online is usually worthless.
