had to cancel my ancestry subscription for now, but Navy records show a possible for an ancestor I've been trying to find info on. Could anyone look at

U.S. World War II Navy Muster Rolls, 1938-1949
Draft, Enlistment and Service

and see what it says or possibly send me a copy to my email? (ask for it plz) then if it is him, maybe send me the other listings? I would really appreciate it.

I have been on Ancestry off and on for about 7 years.

I currently have US membership and would be happy to be of help.

Greetings, I don't require any help at the moment, but knowing this group exists, I know where to come for assistance. Thank you Joyce for the offer of help to all...

I am new here and I have a tree on ancestry, as a matter of fact I am helping about 6 people with their tree and if someone would like me to help I am here to do so.

For some reason my 2010 version does not complete or even start to find any duplicate people.  Could this be a defective disk?

John,

There is a Family Tree Maker group here on GenealogyWise. Please join as it would be a better place to have this discussion.

Hi, I'm new here and apologise if I'm wanting to discuss an issue that is already being discussed here or elsewhere. I use Family Tree Maker synchronised with my tree on Ancestry.com. I have had a lot of problems with synchronisation failing and the fallout from that. I need to discuss what is good practice in preserving information to minimise the effects of failure and the work involved in getting things back together. There seems to me to be so many issues to discuss about this that another group or a new group might be more appropriate. Is there somewhere appropriate to get into in-depth discussion on this?
