My line descends from Johannes Aurandt, aka John Aurand, who came to North America in 1757 and settled in Berks County, PA. Later he moved to Northumberland County, where he was a member of the Committee of Safety during the Rev. War. My roadblocks are the wives of two of my Aurand ancestors: Catherine Vallentine who m. Samuel Aurand in Northumberland Co c. 1806; and Catherine Bradley who m. Samuel's son Henry in 1832 in Union Co, PA. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
