Hi liz
That Ancestors on board is hosted by "find my past" but the one I use as posted for John has just about all the shippings to n from Aust just click anything that appeals to your or not and you will find heaps as I did , the link to VIC is very good as it has passengers in and out of Vic and Ken Blairs list is very good I also have to say that I found a few that are blank, probably with drawn.
This also has arrival n departures:
http://www.blaxland.com/ozships/page.htm
and of course this one as mentioned
http://www.theshipslist.com/ships/passengerlists/index.htm
and this one has links as well:

Reply to John Archer:

Try Ancestors On Board

Does anyone know if passenger list departures from England to Australia are available online? I have found an arrival list in Victoria with an expected person missing and it would be nice to find a departure list to match it with

Hi John,

All my research is also based in Australia and the UK and I have been using Gensmarts for over 3 years now. Very good program.

Regards,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

My research is based in the UK and Australia and I wondered if it is suitable for that. Being an American program I wondered if it was more geared for there

Hi John,

I use the Gensmarts program. What do you wish to know?

Andrew

Do you have Irish ancestors? Although it has been posted on many blogs you may have missed it - Free access to the 1911 Irish Census for all thirty-two counties is now available on this site:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

I found a whole branch of my grandmother's family there this morning and it cost not a cent!
