Hi, Sorry I didn't welcomed you sooner. I am descended from James Badgley, b. abt 1705, d. 1777. Son of Anthony Badgley 1670-1720 and Elizabeth Hendley b. abt. 1664.

Do you think your Anthony b. 1721 could be the brother of my James b. abt. 1705?

Hi Leilani,

Your James would have been Anthony's uncle. There were so many Anthony's that they can be confusing. I have not done much research on my own of regarding the Badgley line back further than when Anthony and Mary came to Onondaga County, New York.

I descend from your Anthony's brother Stephen (b. ca 1725 married poss Abiah Duell).  My line is as follows:

I am researching the Badgley family and in particular the connection between Lawrence Badgley and William Deyo Badgley.  I am looking for provable documentation that William is the son of Lawrence.  Can anyone help in this regard.
