I have an Isobel Black born about 1780 in Scotland married to Bryan McCurdy/McKirdy and who had moved to Ballycastle Ireland by 1798 for birth of a son also Bryan. I also have a Mary Black who married a Captain Archibald McCurdy about 1785 that may be of same family.
