Robert Boyes of the Hudson Valley, New York

My first Boyes ancestor was Robert BOYES who lived in the Hudson Valley of New York State.  He died about May 1744.  His wife's name was Lisabeth.  She may have been related to Herman KUHN.  Robert and Lisabeth had the following children:

1. Thomas BOYES (my ancestor), born circa September 1736.  He died 15 February 1825 in Hillsdale, Columbia Co., NY.
2. Sara BOYES born circa July 1740.  She was baptized on 16 June 1741.  The sponsors were Jo. Jacob MYLIUS and Anna Maria, his wife.
3. Marytje BOYES born circa 1742.  She was baptized 1 November 1745 in Herman KUHN's house near Rhinebeck, Dutchess Co., NY.  Sponsors were Matthys SCHMID and Mar. Susanna, his wife.
4. Joseph BOYES born on 23 April 1744.  He was baptized on 1 November 1745 in Herman KUHN's house.  Sponsors were Michael RAU and his wife An. Mar.
