Bostic Family of Duplin and Onslow County, N.C>

Has anyone of my distant cousins wondered why our forefather Charles Bostock left England and arrived in America in 1671?  I have been researching my families heritage for over ten years and I am amazed how little I could find on his family that settled in New Kent, Virginia..  His grandson Valentine Bostock (b 1700) up rooted the family and moved to Onslow/Sampson County, North Carolina where my ggggrandfather John Bostic was born in 1788.

His father (b 1606) Charles Bostock attended Cambridge and Oxford and graduated as a PHYSICIAN in 1640..There is so little information available about him here in America, that It looks as though I am going to have to go to England to find material on my families heritage?   Any other distant cousins out there that is interested in going with me May 2011 please contact me.
