I am researching the Columbia Bosticks who are first documented in 1830. Susan Bostick - FPOC and a slave owner.  She lived in a cottage on Gervais Street in Columbia.

I am new at this so I hope I am writing to Beazley!!!

Do you have any information regarding John Bostick of Richland County? I see the Bostick families FPOC from 1830 onward but have no information regarding the emancipator of these people. I can only assume it was John Bostick of the Columbia vacinity.

I have been unable to make contact with any of the Bostick researchers. Looking for Bostick of Richland County, SC and Columbia, South Carolina.

I'm also delighted to read your msg, Annabel, to see more of Charles H Bostick's line. I'm brand new at this. How can we share what we have?

I'm excited to find that you, Jane, are fom Charles Henry Bostick's side of the family. I'm a descendant of his brother, Jefferson Ewell Bostick. I would like to know all about "Uncle Charlie," as my daddy referred to him. You mentioned the Porter line I have a tin-type of G-grandmother Susan's brother Steven, who was shot and killed and left no descendants.
