My mother was a Brigham from Marlboro, MA.  Thomas "The Emigrant" 1603-1653 is my 9th great grandfather.  My line from Thomas is: Thomas 1641-1716, Jonathan 1674-1768, Jesse 1710-1796, Artemas 1739-1802, Gardner b1764, Joel 1788-1869, John 1819-1893, Walter Augustus 1846-1903, my great grandfather, and Walter Gilman b1890, my grandfather.

Many thanks to Kenneth Nagel for a photo of my great grandmother, Alice Gilman, a woman I never knew but with whom I have much in common.
