I have much information I'd be happy to share on the Briglin / Brigling / Breglin / etc. family who migrated from East Yorkshire, England in 1817 to New York State.

Michael,
It would really be great if you could send me copies of some of the papers you have. In particular, you had told me that:
I have scans of baptismal records of several of Edward/Harriet's children in Yorkshire, England; hardcopy (somewhere) of citizenship applications of Edward and his son Robert; hardcopy of Robert's will and several other documents.
Could you please send a copy of Robert's will, and copies of any UK baptismal records - they may help trace Edward and Harriet's ancestry in the UK.
My address is 6 Woodbury Way, Fairport, NY 14450.
If e-mail of your scans is easier, my address is jxw395@yahoo.com
Thanks very much.

Hello! My name is Jennifer Briglin!
My grandparents are Robert and Barbra Briglin
My Great Grandparents are/were Charles Briglin and Marion (blake) Briglin
My great great grandparents were Dennis and Lelah Briglin
My great great great grandparents were Harrison Wesley (Thurber) Briglin and Elizabeth (Drake) Briglin.
And my great great great great grandparents were Franklin Thurber and his wife/partner (??) Harriet Briglin.
I know that Harrison was adopted by the Briglin family when Franklin headed out west and was never heard from again. I have managed to add 45 member to my family tree!
I have found all 11 of Harrisons children, as well!
I would love to share information with everyone and learn some as well!
My email is jbriglin47@gmail.com
Hope to hear from you all soon!
Michael,
Will you please send me a copy of Robert Briglin's will, at your convenience:

Michael & John,
Do you have a breakdown of the family trees? If you have any info you can send me it would be great.
Thanks,
Jason
Thanks for the quick reply, Ed. I, too, would like to see back into the UK for the ancestors of Edward Briglin and Harriet Snowden (my g-g-g-g-grandparents). There are still Briglin's in Yorkshire, perhaps many of our cousins.

It is good to see some action with the Briglan/Briglin family line. I also am searching this line and any information is always helpful. I am looking for any information from my 4th great grandmother Mary Briglan/Briglin and back. I know that she was born in England.
John
The information that I have does not show George and Mary having a son named George Draper. I did not do extensive research on children of children yet. I know that I descend from George and Mary's daughter Nancy Ann who married Reuben Stowe
Michael,
I just retired from the Army, Yes I'm the guy that keeps popping up on Google..lol

For Ed Bilky, Jr,
Hi Ed,
Do you know if your ancestors George Draper and Mary Briglin had a son named George Draper? It seems odd to me that my great-great-grandfather George Draper Briglin would have been parented by Robert Briglin. It seems more likely that he would have been the son of George Draper (and Mary Briglin). Thanks for any information you may have.

Jason, If you can give me an email address, I have some stuff to send you.
BTW, are you the Sgt Jason Briglin I've read about? If so, you pop up every time I do a Google search on "Briglin."
