i realized i posted incorrectly the 3 Clayton brothers; George, Walter and Edwin were sent over by Middlmore homes not Barnardo

It appears that Walter and Edwin traveled together to Canada aboard the Lake Winnipeg arriving 18 Jun 1885.

My Grandfather John Alfred Clayton was first placed at the United Church YMCA hostel in Norval Ontario. i got this from the ships record but when I contacted YMCA Archives they said that they never kept any records of the children

very disheartening to find but have still gotten other records of him in England as my grandmother had a few old letters

George Walter and Edwin Clayton sent over with Barnardo boys. george to caradoc ontario in June 1884; Walter to Keswick New Brunswick in June of 1885 and Edwin to Nashwaak new brunswick but don't have the year

also my Granfather was sent by the YMCA in march of 1930
