My Brockman Line from Orange County, Va to Boone County, Ky to Indiana

Hi Everyone,

I Descend from William Brockman b. 23 Oct 1740 in Orange County, Va d. Jul 1812 in Boone County, Ky, he is the son of John Brockman and Mary Collins.
William married Elizabeth Brockman b. 15 Jan 1749 in Albemarle, Va d. 14 Dec 1822 in Boone County, Ky, she is the daughter of William Brockman and Elizabeth Mason
(Yes, William and Elizabeth were 2nd cousins)

They had a daughter named Nancy Brockman b. abt 1772 in Virginia d. 1840-1850 in Rush County, Indiana.

Nancy married Elijah Lucas on 24 Aug 1801 in Orange County, Va, Elijah was b. abt 1770 in Virginia and d. 1840-1850 in Rush County, Indiana

Their daughter Fanny Lucas b. abt 1802 in Virginia d. 1860-1870 in Marshall County, Indiana married John Morris on 01 Jun 1823 in Boone County, Ky

Fanny and John Morris along with Fanny's parents moved to Rush County, Indiana abt 1830, Fanny and John moved further North in Marshall County, Indiana by 1835 where they settled, raised their children and are burried in the Morris Cemetery in Marshall County, In

The main problem I have is that everyone has Nancy married to the wrong Elijah Lucas, they have her married to an Elijah Lucas who was married to a woman named Margaret and he moved from Virginia to Scott County, Ky where he and Margaret are alive and well in the 1850 Census.

People claim that Margaret died and Nancy married this Scott County, Elijah Lucas in 1801, but Margaret did not die, there were 2 Elijah Lucas's, possibly cousins. My Elijah married Nancy and moved to Boone County, Ky

I would love to hear from anyone related to this Brockman line!!
